Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservations Manager to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Reservations Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our booking processes, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from the first point of contact.
- Lead and mentor the reservations team, ensuring high performance standards and achievement of key KPIs
- Oversee all aspects of the reservation process, including phone and email inquiries, bookings, and modifications
- Develop and implement strategies to increase conversion rates and minimize abandoned calls
- Manage inventory and pricing across all distribution channels to maximize revenue
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any booking-related issues
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to make informed decisions on rates and promotions
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of travel agency commissions and corporate bookings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property offerings, packages, and promotions
- Generate regular reports on reservation performance and provide insights to management
- Implement and maintain a "RevPRO culture" throughout the organization
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in reservation systems
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reservations sales or management within the hospitality industry
- Strong working knowledge of CRS, PMS, TARS, and other distribution systems
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and improving team performance
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in revenue management strategies
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and present effectively
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to embrace and drive change
- Self-motivated with high energy and a results-oriented approach
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends and competitor pricing
- Familiarity with Vietnamese culture and tourism industry is a plus
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
