Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director Sales - Leisure to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing revenue in our leisure segment, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the leisure segment
- Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the leisure industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
- Oversee the development and implementation of innovative sales and marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management
- Manage budgets and forecast sales projections accurately
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the leisure market
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the leisure industry
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the leisure and hospitality sector
- In-depth knowledge of the leisure and hospitality industry, including current trends and market dynamics
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles and practices
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales analytics tools
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with the luxury travel market and its unique demands
- Willingness to travel as required for business development and client meetings
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment and knowledge of the Southeast Asian market is a plus
