Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) division in the beautiful island destination of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive growth in our MICE business.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize MICE revenue and market share
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MICE sector, with a focus on both domestic and international markets
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE events and client satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
- Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and budgets for the MICE division
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on sales performance and market insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MICE sales, with at least 2 years in a management role
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of the MICE sector and current market trends
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
- Fluency in English; additional languages, especially Vietnamese, are a plus
- Experience working in the Vietnamese or Southeast Asian hospitality market is highly desirable
- Industry certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CITP (Certified Incentive Travel Professional) are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to relocate to Phu Quoc, Vietnam
