Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Guest Services
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying reservations and processing payments.
- Provide accurate information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
Reservation Management
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure special requests, such as early check-ins or specific room preferences, are fulfilled.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, room assignments, and billing details.
- Prepare reports on room occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback for management review.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages professionally and efficiently.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in coordinating guest arrivals, departures, and transportation arrangements.
Upselling and Revenue Maximization
- Promote resort amenities, services, and upgrades to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.
- Offer personalized recommendations for dining, spa treatments, and activities within the resort.
Compliance and Standards
- Follow all resort policies, procedures, and brand standards to deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism education preferred.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a guest-facing role, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proficiency in using property management systems (e.g., Opera)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
