Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Hygiene & Food Safety Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards across all food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and guest areas.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, UAE food safety laws, and global best practices.

  • Regularly audit and review procedures, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.

Team Management & Training

  • Lead, mentor, and train staff on hygiene practices, safe food handling, and HACCP compliance.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, diligence, and continuous improvement among all F&B and housekeeping teams.

  • Collaborate with department heads to integrate hygiene and safety standards into daily operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Conduct regular inspections, monitoring, and reporting to ensure operational adherence to food safety standards.

  • Manage documentation, certification, and record-keeping for hygiene and safety audits.

  • Advise management on hygiene-related issues, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay up-to-date with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP trends in the hospitality industry.

  • Introduce innovative practices that enhance guest safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability.

  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hygiene, food safety, or HACCP management within hospitality or F&B operations.

  • Strong knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and international hygiene standards.

  • Proven experience in auditing, training, and implementing HACCP procedures.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Experience in luxury, lifestyle, or experiential hospitality is an advantage.
