Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced Revenue Manager to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Director of Revenue Management, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing, rate parity distribution across all channels, and Hotel inventory management; as well as to ensure an efficient and smooth operation of the Revenue & Reservations Department.

  • Support the DORM in analyzing competitive sets, price positioning & future market need periods. 
  • Support and execute market-wide strategy and promotion implementation. 
  • Ongoing Revenue System health-checks and optimization. 
  • Ensure that all distribution channels effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity. 
  • Monitor the daily online pricing to make sure is in line with pricing and sales strategies. 
  • Monitor market and competitor developments. 
  • Ensure that communication with other departments, especially Sales, Concierge and Front Desk and any other concerned department is maintained. 
  • Adeptly optimize and maintain our Revenue Management Systems.
  • Train other team members as required, provide feedback, review processes and monitor results. Mentor, guide and provide oversight assistance of the reservations team members on best way to overcome challenges related to upselling systems and/or methodology.
  • Interact with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.


What we are looking for...

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
  • +2 years experience in Revenue & Reservations.
  • Experience in booking systems (ideally including Opera), revenue management systems, GDS, OTA extranets and channel managers.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • You take ownership of important issues, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • You learn quickly and adapt to SLS’s unique culture.
  • You are humble and open to ideas. We leave our ego at the door and help get things done.
