Director of Rooms

Job Description

As the Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the rooms division, including front desk operations, housekeeping, reservations, and guest services. You will work closely with other department heads to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction and profitability.



  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rooms division, including staffing, training, and scheduling
  • Monitor room inventory and rates to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage the departmental budget, including forecasting and cost control measures
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote room sales and packages
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and regulations






    • A visionary leader with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Division Head in a fast-paced, high volume, complex operation required and two years of experience in a similar position.
    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
    • Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
