Job Description
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment.
- Attend to guest room maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and hotel standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Report major repairs or equipment failures to the Engineering Supervisor.
- Support energy conservation initiatives and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a General Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
