Job Description

  • Designing and preparing unique and innovative cocktails, including signature drinks that reflect the hotel's brand.
  • Engaging with guests to understand their preferences, offering recommendations, and providing personalized service to enhance their experience.
  • Ensuring all drinks are prepared to high standards, using fresh ingredients and adhering to established recipes and techniques.
  • Monitoring and managing bar inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining proper stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Educating and training bar staff on cocktail preparation, presentation, and customer service techniques to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Adhering to local regulations and health standards, including proper handling and storage of alcohol and ingredients.
  • Assisting in planning and executing bar services for hotel events, banquets, and special occasions, including creating custom drink menus.
  • Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring a pleasant environment for both guests and staff.
  • Staying updated on beverage trends, techniques, and new products to continually enhance the bar menu and guest offerings.
  • Gathering and responding to guest feedback to improve services and adapt the drink menu to meet evolving preferences.

Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, preparation methods, and garnishing techniques.
  • Previous Bar operation is must
  • Two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • Knowledge of local laws regarding alcohol service, health regulations, and proper sanitation practices.
  • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
  • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
