Job Description

Finance Manager (Hotel)

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of our hotel, ensuring operational efficiency, accuracy in financial reporting, and strategic financial planning. This role demands a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance within the hospitality sector, especially in the Middle Eastern market.

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics and provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial trends and variances, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Establish and enforce robust financial controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Develop and oversee the hotel's annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare and review departmental budgets.
  • Conduct detailed financial forecasts and variance analyses to guide future financial planning.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Work closely with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, with at least 2 years in a similar role within the hospitality sector in the Middle East.
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
