Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Supervisor to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our reservation department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximising revenue through efficient booking processes.
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the reservation department
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of reservation agents to maintain high service standards
- Implement and monitor reservation policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Analyse booking trends and occupancy rates to optimise revenue and pricing strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle complex reservation enquiries and resolve guest issues promptly
- Generate and analyse reports on reservation performance and key metrics
- Stay updated on local and international hospitality trends to maintain a competitive edge
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese hospitality regulations and standards
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall hotel operations
- Develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel reservations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth understanding of hotel operations and reservation management systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Proficient in data analysis and report generation
- Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-centric approach with a commitment to guest satisfaction
- Fluency in English required; Vietnamese language skills highly desirable
- Knowledge of local hospitality market trends in Phu Quoc and Vietnam
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in hospitality-specific software and booking systems
- Understanding of revenue management principles
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
- Familiarity with the local tourism industry in Phu Quoc would be advantageous
