We’re looking for a Floor Supervisor to join our team at Lotti’s. Reporting to our Restaurant Manager you will be responsible to support the seamless running of our restaurant by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained, guest needs are anticipated as well as a good handle on the figures. Along with the Restaurant Manager you will lead our talented team, motivating and developing them to be the best they can be.

Lotti's is our buzzing neighbourhood restaurant. The menu features an internationally inspired brasserie style cuisine with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. During the day, Lotti's is a place to meet, relax or work, and from Friday to Sunday the bar plays host to local DJ talent.

Job Description

What you'll do...

  • Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
  • You will be the guiding light and the example of setting the Vibe and Tone of The Hoxton Way
    • The Hox Standards
    • The LQA
    • Sequence of Service
    • Day-to-Day running of the restaurant, Lounge, Lobby and Mezzanine
  • You will be responsible for the Onboarding on new members of the team
  • You will be required to give relevant SOP updates to senior management
  • You will be responsible for training and developing the waiters on the floor
    • Food Knowledge
    • Beer Knowledge
    • Wine Knowledge
    • Upselling / Suggestive Selling
    • Emotional and Engaged Service Management
  • You will be responsible for driving Ennismore/Hoxton initiatives
    • LQA

  • You will support the Bar management team when necessary.
  • You will conduct team member chats

  • Formulate work schedules for the team.
  • Maintain inventories and ensure compliance with cash control procedures.
  • Complete accounting and administrative reports as required.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times.

  • Strong previous work experience as floor manager or supervisor in a busy and high volume restaurant.
  • You are aware of local employment law and health and safety regulations.
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills.
