Job Description

As our People and Culture Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our team, making sure our workplace is just as exciting and inspiring as the experiences we create for our guests. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our dynamic and inclusive culture, ensuring every team member feels inspired, valued, and ready to deliver the unforgettable experiences that the hotel is known for.

As our People and Culture Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Attracting and welcoming the best talent to join our fabulous team.
  • Employee Engagement: Creating a positive and inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.
  • Learning & Development: Helping our team members grow and thrive through innovative training programs and career development opportunities.
  • Culture & Wellbeing: Promoting a culture of fun, creativity, and wellbeing that reflects the Hyde Melbourne Place spirit.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For:

  • A true HR Leader with background in hospitality, particularly in a fast-paced premium property.
  • A people-person with a flair for creativity, innovation, a can-do attitude and a sense of fun!
  • An engaging leader with heart for people, and ability to balance empathy and care with business needs.
  • A real trooper who is ready roll up their sleeves and work with the team to deliver talent and culture outcomes that will set teams for success.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment law (HIGA) and best practices.
  • Must have valid Australian Working Rights.
