Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description

Content Creator - Hotel

This position is responsible for creating captivating visual content that showcases the unique features of our resort, including its architecture, landscapes, amenities, and guest experiences. Work closely with the team to develop concepts, execute photo and video shoots, and deliver high-quality images and videos that align with our brand image and marketing objectives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the hotel's brand identity, marketing objectives, and target audience.
  • Create high-quality, multimedia content for the hotel's website, blog, social media channels, email campaigns, and other digital platforms, including but not limited to photos, videos, blog posts, and infographics.
  • Capture and edit visually stunning photos and videos of the hotel's amenities, services, events, and guest experiences to showcase its unique offerings and atmosphere.
  • Write compelling and informative copy that accompanies visual content, conveying the hotel's story, values, and key messaging while maintaining brand voice and tone.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, and guest services, to source content ideas, gather information, and ensure accuracy and consistency in messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as engagement rates, reach, and conversions, using analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Engage with the hotel's online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive relationships with followers to enhance brand loyalty and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots, including scheduling, location scouting, talent coordination, and equipment management, to ensure smooth execution of content production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in photography and videography, with experience in shooting and editing high-quality photos and videos using professional equipment and software.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy for various digital channels and formats.
  • Proficiency in using content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom), Canva, or similar programs.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing platforms.
  • Passion for hospitality, travel, and creating memorable guest experiences.
