Job Description
- Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and service standards
- Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient guest service
- Maintain excellent knowledge of bar products, cocktails, and garnishes
- Ensure bar cleanliness, organization, and proper display of beverages
- Handle cashiering, stock control, and minimize wastage
- Follow opening and closing procedures of the bar
- Assist with training of new staff and support banqueting duties when required
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, hygiene, and punctuality
- Comply with hotel policies, safety regulations, and local legislation
- Work flexibly based on operational and business needs
Qualifications
✔ Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in bar service, beverage preparation, or as a bartender (hotel or restaurant environment preferred)
✔ Good knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wines, and beverage service standards
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented attitude
✔ Presentable, confident, and professional appearance
✔ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✔ Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist other departments when needed
✔ Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
✔ Cash handling and POS experience an advantage
✔ Understanding of hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service
✔ Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and inventory control
✔ Fluent in English (additional languages a plus)
