Job Description

Summary

As a Speciality Waiter, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is both memorable and delightful. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that high standard of personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed and followed.
  • Ensure the guests experience an enjoyable, expertly served dining experience by following the outlet sequence of service.
  • Ensure that correct operating standards are adhered in order to achieve the level of service established in the operations manual.
  • Collect and deliver orders from the kitchens and serve them to the customers according to the standard operating procedures of the restaurant/outlet.
  • Assist in the preparation of sufficient and clean, operating equipment prior to the commencement of service.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all F&B services, outlets, hotel services/features and hours of operations, as they affect the areas of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals.
  • Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.
  • Assist other Food & Beverage Outlets in their operations within peak times when needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role internationally or a minimum of 2 years in luxury hotel and high-end restaurant environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Friendly and hospitable approach, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and handling guest inquiries with tact.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and billing procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Good oral proficiency in English language.
  • Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Self-motivated and energetic.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well-groomed appearance consistently.
