Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time or Part Time Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the hotel, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms and hotel facilities
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
Maintain plant and equipment in line with safety and compliance requirements
Liaise with external contractors where required
Support the hotel team to deliver an exceptional guest experience

Qualifications

About You

Previous experience in hotel or building maintenance (preferred)
Trade qualification or strong hands-on maintenance experience (advantageous)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Understanding of WHS and safe work practices
Flexible availability, including weekends if required
A positive attitude and team-focused approach
