Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Office Supervisor to join our team at our luxurious resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operations in our bustling tropical island setting.

  • Lead and motivate the front office team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
  • Organise and oversee daily tasks, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
  • Coach and develop team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Make decisive operational decisions to maintain service standards
  • Manage shift registrations, administration, and evaluations
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions
  • Monitor and contribute to the department's performance goals
  • Maintain a welcoming and organised front desk area

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a front office role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership and coaching abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera Cloud
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in multitasking and working accurately under pressure
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills, particularly Vietnamese, are highly desirable
  • Hospitality or tourism-related qualifications are advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a tropical resort setting
