Job Description

Specialty Waiter/ Waitress – Azure Beach Club

The Specialty Waiter/ Waitress – Azure Beach Club is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction within the establishment. This role involves overseeing the entire guest journey, from reservation to departure, and ensuring that all guests receive impeccable service and memorable experiences

What you will be doing:

  • To welcome, smile, and greet our guests.
  • Suggest and professionally upsell food and beverage products.
  • To serve all our guests and colleagues with fast, efficient, and accurate service.
  • Attend and accommodate guests' reasonable requests and ensure all queries are responded to promptly and on time.
  • To be knowledgeable about the menu and information about the food and beverage offerings available to answer guests' questions.
  • Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is maintained.
  • Set up, clear, and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • High School Diploma or a degree in Food & Beverage
  • Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System
  • Basic Food Safety Certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the five star hospitality industry, with a strong background in Food and Beverage operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and senior management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
