Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced F&B Manager to lead our A la Carte Restaurants in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the F&B Manager, reporting to the Director F&B, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maximizing profitability.
- Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that align with current culinary trends and guest preferences
- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize food and beverage operations to meet financial targets
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to continuously improve restaurant performance
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective promotional strategies
- Foster relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of restaurant facilities and equipment
- Stay informed about the local food scene and tourism trends in Phu Quoc to adapt offerings accordingly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B management, preferably in upscale restaurants
- Proven track record in menu planning, inventory management, and financial control
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training and development
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle guest concerns effectively
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems and other restaurant management software
- Up-to-date Food Safety Certification
- Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and international culinary trends
- Understanding of local food regulations and licensing requirements in Vietnam
- Familiarity with the Phu Quoc food scene and tourism industry is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
