Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Guest Service Agent (Arabic speaking) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Welcome and check-in guests, confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
- Process all types of payments, including room charges, cash, checks, and credit/debit cards
- Handle guest check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges efficiently
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness for check-ins
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions to guests
- Manage daily reports, including arrivals, departures, and special requests
- Balance and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Assist with additional front desk duties as needed
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is essential
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with hotel management software
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
