Job Description

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented AV Supervisor to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all audio-visual operations, ensuring high-quality technical support for events, and managing a team of AV technicians.

  • Supervise and coordinate all audio-visual activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment
  • Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians, providing training and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with event organisers and clients to understand and meet their technical requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues promptly and efficiently
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for AV operations
  • Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all AV activities
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and budgets for AV projects
  • Stay current with the latest AV technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in AV operations and management
  • Proven experience in supervising and training technical staff
  • Strong knowledge of current AV technologies, equipment, and industry trends
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in project management and team leadership
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Industry certifications such as InfoComm CTS, ISF, or similar qualifications
  • Experience in event production and live performances
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese language is advantageous
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
