Job Description
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented AV Supervisor to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all audio-visual operations, ensuring high-quality technical support for events, and managing a team of AV technicians.
- Supervise and coordinate all audio-visual activities, including setup, operation, and maintenance of equipment
- Lead and mentor a team of AV technicians, providing training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with event organisers and clients to understand and meet their technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues promptly and efficiently
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for AV operations
- Manage inventory, maintenance schedules, and equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all AV activities
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and budgets for AV projects
- Stay current with the latest AV technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in AV operations and management
- Proven experience in supervising and training technical staff
- Strong knowledge of current AV technologies, equipment, and industry trends
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in project management and team leadership
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Industry certifications such as InfoComm CTS, ISF, or similar qualifications
- Experience in event production and live performances
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese language is advantageous
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
