SO/ Maldives will open towards the end of 2023 and we are now looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully launching our brand.
SO/ Maldives brings together a statement collection of 80 beachfront and over-water villas imagined by renowned designers, alongside a vibrant array of dining and entertainment experience. Nestled on its own exclusive island overlooking the azure Emboodhoo Lagoon, SO/ Maldives will be a new destination for sartorial travellers, just 15 minutes by speedboat from Malé’s Velana International Airport
You will be reporting to the Director of Sales and willtake on the crucial role of supporting the sales strategy for our hotel.  

What you’ll do…

  • Assist the Director of Sales & Director of Marketing with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategy
  • Coordinate and manage sales and marketing activities including sales call appointments, handle sales inquiries, wholesale database, prepare a proposal and contract for both FIT and Group business
  • Assist in the preparation of sales & marketing reports, marketing events and calendars.
  • Working closely with the operation team to make sure all Sales & Marketing strategy and packages well communicate to the team.
  • Assist the Director of Sales to conduct the competitor survey
  • Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing with the sales and marketing expenses
  • Attend sales and marketing meetings and participate in training sessions as required
  • Conduct site inspection for FAM and Press Trip
  • Support and assist on other duties assigned by the Director of Sales and Director of Marketing

  • At least 1-year experience in a coordinator role within an international resort environment
