Job Description

Job Purpose

The IT Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the IT department, ensures the stability and security of the company’s network infrastructure, and manages the IT support team. This role is critical in maintaining high system availability, managing hardware/software deployments, and supporting the technological needs of the Ras El Hekma property.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Infrastructure & System Maintenance

  • Supervise the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks (LAN/WAN), Wi-Fi, and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitor system performance to ensure maximum uptime and resolve technical bottlenecks immediately.
  • Manage backup procedures, disaster recovery plans, and data integrity protocols.

2. Team Leadership & Helpdesk Support

  • Lead, mentor, and schedule the daily tasks of the IT technical support team.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues reported by staff or guests.
  • Ensure technical support tickets are resolved efficiently and within agreed service levels (SLAs).

3. Security & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce company cybersecurity policies, firewalls, antivirus compliance, and access controls.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities or unauthorized software installations.

4. Inventory & Vendor Management

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets, software licenses, and IT peripherals.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and internet service providers (ISPs) for procurement, maintenance, and system upgrades.

    Job Requirements & Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 1–2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity (experience in hospitality or large-scale property operations is a strong plus).
    • Technical Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, or ITIL certifications are highly preferred.
    • Core Skills:
      • Strong knowledge of network administration, active directory, firewalls, and VoIP systems.
      • Excellent troubleshooting skills across Windows/macOS environments and hardware.
      • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills in both English and Arabic
