We are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Graphic Designer to join our London based in-house design team, to lead the design for the Hoxton Brand which comprises of 14 hotels, and 6 more in the pipeline.
You will need to have experience across brand, digital, and print projects, but more importantly have an appetite to learn fast and be diverse in the things you are designing.
What you’ll do...
· Work on a range of briefs from hotel collateral, to F&B concepts, to signage packs for the hotel
· Work collaboratively with stakeholders and be comfortable presenting your work to internal brand teams and external partners
· Contribute at all stages of a project from concept creation through to completion/production
Oversee, lead and inspire a small team of designers and freelancers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
· Confidently interpret and interrogate briefs
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to achieve project objectives and maintain design standards
Art Direct interior shoots of our hotel openings all over the world including bedrooms, F&B spaces and public areas
What we’re looking for...
· 5+ years experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally with experience of high-end design, the luxury lifestyle market or hospitality
· Ability to manage multiple design projects of varying complexities, ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
· Experience managing a small team and developing more junior members of the team
· Flexibility to travel when needed for shoots and recces and more
· Self-motivated and passionate about design and enjoy working as part of a small team
· Desire to take responsibility of the brand and champion its development and elevation across the business
· Competence in Adobe Creative Suite
· An eagle eye for detail, plenty of imagination and culturally aware
· Conceptual thinker and creative designer with strategic problem solving skills
· Solid knowledge of print production processes
