Job Description

Our Ambassador will:

  • Perform basic day-to-day food and beverage service.
  • Opening and Closing of restaurant or outlet.
  • Prepare and service a wide variety of high quality coffee beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the outlet.
  • Train and mentor trainees in all aspects of barista skills, including coffee preparation, latte art, beverage customization and customer service.
  • Maintain inventory including restocking and stocktake coffee beans, syrups, milk and other supplies as needed.
  • Perform the tasks of order taking and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling. Ensure accuracy by repeating order(s) to the guests.
  • Make sure ordered food & beverages are delivered to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
  • Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
  • Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service.
  • Promptly answer the telephone and maximize sales opportunities through knowledge of product and suggestive selling.
  • Maintain highest standards of hygiene and quality assurance practices.
  • Ensure all guests and patrons receive a friendly, warm welcome along with quick and efficient service and prompt attention to provide a memorable experience, according to hotel standards.
  • Be familiar with all items on menus available to clients including names and styles of coffee.


  • At least 1 year experience in a luxury 5 star hotel
  • Previous experience in Fine dining breakfast and dinner service a bonus
  • Previous experience in luxury banqueting service a bonus
  • Previous experience in Barista and Café style service
  • Knowledge on gastronomy and beverages 
  • Use of Micros is a bonus
  • Strong presentation and organisation skills
  • Ability to work in the fast paced environment and be proactive
  • Previous hotel or administration experience
  • Positive bubbly personality
