Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Event Sales Executive to join our team in Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our event sales strategy, responsible for identifying, cultivating, and converting event opportunities into confirmed business. You will deliver exceptional, personalized service with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring an outstanding client experience at every stage of the sales process.   • Proactively drive event sales through persistence, initiative, and strong negotiation skills to secure new business and improve conversion rates
  • Handle all incoming event inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing tailored solutions that meet client needs and expectations
  • Prepare comprehensive and compelling event proposals, including detailed pricing, floor plans, menus, and customized packages to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Conduct site inspections and host prospective clients, including walk-in inquiries, to showcase our facilities and capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients, demonstrating commercial awareness while maintaining transparency and building lasting relationships
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial inquiry through contract execution, deposit collection, and final payment processing
  • Prepare detailed Booking Event Orders (BEOs) and ensure timely distribution to all relevant departments, communicating client requirements clearly and comprehensively
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all client interactions, accounts, and activities within our CRM and hotel management systems
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for strategic selling and revenue optimization
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams, including catering, housekeeping, and technical services, to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
  • Produce weekly forecasts and performance reports, reviewing progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement
  • Support financial processes, including purchase orders and commission accruals, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the development of best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Gather post-event client feedback and utilize insights to continuously enhance our service delivery and client experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an Event Sales, Groups & Events, Sales, or Hospitality role, ideally within a luxury hotel or premium events environment
  • Demonstrated ability to convert inquiries into confirmed business and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, results-driven approach to sales and business development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Confident negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and secure favorable terms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with hotel management systems such as Opera, Delphi, or similar CRM platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all documentation and communications
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external suppliers
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service in line with luxury hospitality standards
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Preferred: Experience with event budgeting, financial forecasting, and revenue management
