Job Description

  • Assists the Entertainment Manager with developing and executing programming calendar

  • Work alongside supporting departments to facilitate event logistics

  • Develops event information sheets and floor plans for distribution to supporting Departments

  • Responsible for the implementation of standard operating procedures related to venue operations with focus on continuous improvement and guest experience to ensure competitiveness, consistency, and quality.

  • Supervises team responsibilities for assigned tasks to include: creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; training and succession planning

  • Facilitates planning meetings, staff trainings, and operational meetings as required, ensuring smooth coordination of guest and event services activities throughout event venues.

  • Researches, reviews, and recommends equipment, materials, and supplies required for guest and event services

  • Create purchasing process and prepare Purchase Requests and issue Purchase Orders, distribute to Receiving, close POs when complete. Verify invoices for payments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced recreational environment with adults.

  • Proficient knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Detail oriented, possessing creativity, ingenuity and research skills Excellent communication skills to interface with vendors and property personnel.

  • Professional, neat and well‐groomed appearance.

  • Ability to lift, climb, stoop as well as stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.

  • Excellent customer service skills Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both oral and written form.
