Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Engagement: Welcome guests to the outdoor areas of the hotel with warmth and professionalism, providing assistance and information as required.
  2. Concierge Services: Offer assistance with guest inquiries, including recommendations for nearby attractions, dining options, and recreational activities.
  3. Ambassadorship: Act as a brand ambassador for Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, showcasing a thorough understanding of hotel facilities, services, and amenities.
  4. Outdoor Area Maintenance: Ensure that outdoor spaces, including poolside areas, gardens, and recreational facilities, are well-maintained and presentable at all times.
  5. Safety and Security: Monitor outdoor areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, promptly addressing any concerns or incidents that may arise.
  6. Event Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of outdoor events and activities, providing logistical support and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  7. Special Requests: Handle special requests and arrangements for guests, such as arranging outdoor dining experiences, private cabanas, or recreational equipment rentals.
  8. Feedback Collection: Proactively seek feedback from guests regarding their outdoor experience, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  9. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and recreation, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  10. Training and Development: Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and services through ongoing training and development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of local attractions, dining options, and recreational activities in Abu Dhabi preferred.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating memorable moments.
