One of Scotland’s finest and most iconic 5-star hotels and country estates, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, guest focused and passionate Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Accommodation Services team.
We’re one of the largest teams on the estate, dynamic and always working hard to achieve the highest possible standards in all that we do; our aim is to exceed our guests’ expectations.  We work front of house, so in addition to our specific cleaning knowledge, we’re great communicators, with outstanding attention to detail.

Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

  • You’ll assist and supervise your own mighty team of Accommodation Services Attendants
  • Attending and participating in daily and monthly meetings for preparation, you’ll have a key role in the set up and service of the Hotel, maintaining and continually improving the standards and quality of our service and exceeding guest expectations
  • Ensuring operating costs are managed effectively, you’ll have responsibility for stock take completion and stock ordering in the most organised and efficient ways
  • Always warm and thoughtful, you and your team will make sure all customer requests and queries are responded to promptly, effectively and professionally
  • You’ll check all areas before, during and at the end of each shift, ensuring our sky high standards are maintained; you’ll also carry out daily maintenance and cleanliness checks across all areas of both guest and colleague facing areas
  • Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

The kind of person we're looking for:

  • You have strong previous experience within a similar role, ideally within the Hospitality industry
  • Well organised, punctual and willing to work a flexible schedule, you’re approachable, helpful and self-motivated
  • You have a strong grasp of English language, both written and spoken, as you'll be working front of house, completing a variety of documentation, recording events on a regular basis and interacting with our guests
  • You're highly motivated and possess an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
  • You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner; as well as excellent personal presentation, hygiene and grooming standards
  • You're a strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way
