Job Description
**Director, People & Culture**
We are seeking an experienced leader with comprehensive expertise in human resources operations and a demonstrated ability to execute strategic initiatives that drive organizational performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct and oversee all operations of the People & Culture Department and execute the human resources strategy in alignment with senior leadership directives
- Establish and maintain professional employee relations standards through structured communication protocols, documented procedures, and adherence to company policies
- Serve as a member of the Executive Committee, providing strategic human resources counsel on talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and administrative oversight
- Deliver strategic human resources support to executive leadership and ensure all policies and procedures align with the organization's mission and legal requirements
- Provide guidance to departmental leaders and senior managers in developing and implementing corrective action plans based on employee feedback and performance data
- Administer all human resources programs including compensation and benefits administration, leave management, disciplinary procedures, investigations, performance management, talent management, occupational health and safety, and training and development initiatives
- Develop and manage the annual People & Culture budget, monitor expenditures, prepare month-end financial reports, and forecast departmental accounts
- Conduct analysis of organizational trends and metrics using the human resources information system (HRIS) and talent management platforms to inform strategic decisions
- Oversee recruitment operations in accordance with established company policies and procedures
- Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements; conduct regular audits and update policies as necessary
- Evaluate and enhance human resources processes and practices to optimize operational efficiency and organizational performance
- Execute disciplinary actions and employee terminations in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Coordinate and oversee employee events and organizational initiatives
- Provide oversight and support for designated committees including Employee Recognition and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
- Ensure adherence to Accor/Ennismore policies and local legislation across all human resources functions
- Maintain professional standards in all interactions and communications
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources Management experience, including responsibility for HR operations and strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise across all core HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal communication with the ability to articulate HR strategy to executive leadership and all organizational levels
- Proven capability to design and implement leadership development and talent management programs
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in budget development, expense management, and financial forecasting
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, regulatory compliance, and occupational health and safety requirements
- Established track record of building and managing high-performing HR teams
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent)
- Hospitality industry experience, particularly in hotel or resort operations
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management platforms
- Demonstrated success implementing organizational change initiatives and process improvements
