Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Technology, The Hoxton & Working From_ to join our team, reporting to the Head of Hotel Technology for Ennismore

This is a key role in the Tech team here and we’re looking for an individual who relishes the opportunity to really take ownership of all thing’s hotel & coworking tech whilst keeping us secure and thinking about best practise.

What you’ll do…

  • Be responsible for the IT and Technology globally for The Hoxton and Working From_ brands
  • Work with the Head of Technology, Ennismore and the Group EVP of Technology to set and enforce the roadmap for technology and the standards within the brands
  • Be a representative for the brands – e.g. attending GM conferences, communicating plans out to leaders of the brands and acting as an ambassador for the wider Ennismore technology team
  • Work with the group’s parent company, Accor, to ensure that IT support is delivered
  • Manage the brand’s relationship with vendors and technology partners
  • Manage a team of highly capable and technical individuals who support the brands
  • Manage technical projects from PMS migrations, vendor migrations and wider integrations to the Ennismore technology stack
  • Attend project calls, give direction and guidance on the requirements of the brands
  • Oversee new openings, liaising with vendors and partners to ensure delivery of IT on site


What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience with managing the technology of multiple hotels at brand level
  • Previous experience with standard hotel technology – PMS, POS, network providers, etc
  • A solid understanding of network topology, traditional IT infrastructure and IT security
  • Experience of assisting in the support of the wider hotel application ecosystem – e.g. CRS, CRM & above property applications
  • Experience in managing a technical team
  • Comfortable presenting and speaking to senior leaders within the business
  • Keen to take ownership of and pride in your work; a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to seeing work through and delivering results
  • Creating an atmosphere where people can be productive, authentic to who they are and enjoy what they do
  • Highly organised and detail orientated; someone you can rely on to know the answers, or where to find them. Enthusiastic, confident, and warm; you want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun with it along the way!
