Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Laundry Attendant to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our linens and uniforms, contributing to our guests' overall satisfaction.

• Manage daily laundry operations for linens and uniforms, adhering to established cycles and proper textile care procedures
• Safely handle chemicals and operate laundry equipment, following health and safety regulations
• Maintain and troubleshoot laundry machinery, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors promptly
• Ensure proper sorting, washing, drying, and folding of various textiles according to specific care instructions
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete daily checklists
• Handle lost and found items according to hotel procedures
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate logbooks
• Meet schedules and deadlines as agreed upon with management
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Laundry Attendant in a 4-5 star hotel or similar establishment
• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of laundry operations and proper textile care procedures
• Demonstrated ability to safely handle chemicals and operate laundry equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of English language
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
