The Hoxton, Brussels is our first hotel in Belgium, occupying a brutalist-style tower building and the former European headquarters of IBM. It features 198 rooms of various sizes, a lofty double-height lobby, a bar, a coffee bar, a Peruvian-inspired restaurant - Cantina Valentina, a rooftop bar – TOPE - that offers stunning views across the city, and The Apartment, our unique meetings & events concept. 

Working From_ brings our unique approach to co-working to Brussels. Our 3rd global location features double height windows, a mixture of memberships and office spaces, open kitchen pantries and transparent policies.

Job Description

What you'll do..

  • Act as a brand guardian for the Hoxton brand, learning and understanding their positioning, their audience and their personalities.
  • Help manage the cultural programming calendar, owning the execution of events.
  • Be that key connector between brand, graphic design and hotel ops.
  • Build key relationships with multiple external suppliers and partners.
  • Get stuck in at all levels from creative conception to those pesky excel sheets.
  • Help keep multiple projects going at one time across programming and events, retail and product development, social media and brand activations.
  • Think creatively and proactively, as you’ll be involved from conception stage onwards.
  • Take care of Tope and Cantina Valentina social medias

Qualifications

What we're looking for...

  • Experience and understanding of working on lifestyle brands that are rooted in culture and community.
  • Ideally fluent in French and English, additional languages will be highly valuable.
  • Graphic skills - Adobe, especially Adobe InDesign, has no secret for you
  • Those who know you would describe you as ‘on top of things’ – you know how to keep yourself and others organized and have an eagle eye for detail.
  • A curious soul, passionate about creating creative experiences.
  • At ease supporting on big projects, and sometimes owning them from start to finish, and a natural communicator.
  • A personal network of contacts within a variety of industries for future partnerships for the Hoxton.
  • A conceptual, out-of-the-box thinker who inspires others; we’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
  • The ability to think big, be brave and make things happen.
  • Individuals. You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits for us.
