Job Description

All Inclusive Collection Properties is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Captain Waiter/Waitress to lead service operations in our F&B outlets. The role involves supervising the wait staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding service standards. 

  1. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff to ensure smooth and efficient service. 
  • Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menu guidance or recommendations when requested. 
  • Take and process guest orders accurately, ensuring any special requests or dietary requirements are clearly communicated to the kitchen. 
  • Oversee food and beverage delivery, ensuring correct items are served promptly and presented to standard. 
  • Monitor service quality and consistency, proactively addressing any lapses to maintain guest satisfaction. 
  • Lead pre-service briefings with the team, sharing daily specials, menu changes, and guest preferences. 
  • Train, coach, and mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and service excellence. 
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring positive resolution. 
  • Assist in managing table assignments, reservations, and seating flow to maximize efficiency. 
  • Support in monitoring stock levels of service items (linens, cutlery, glassware, etc.) and coordinate replenishment as needed. 
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in all service areas. 
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless coordination during service. 
  • Assist in preparing reports on service performance, guest feedback, and team productivity when required. 
  • Promote upselling and cross-selling of menu items, beverages, and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue. 
  • Maintain high personal grooming standards and ensure the team follows company grooming and appearance guidelines. 
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment, leading by example and encouraging teamwork. 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills: 

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus. 
  • Prior experience as a waiter/waitress with supervisory responsibilities. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
