Job Description
Sports Club Manager
The Sports Club Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of a sports club. This role includes overseeing daily activities, managing team, organizing events and competitions, handling finances, and ensuring a positive experience for members and guests.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the sports club
- Develop and enforce club policies and procedures
- Recruit, train, and manage the team
- Promote teamwork and a positive club culture
- Handle memberships, fees, and payments
- Plan and organize activities, training sessions, leagues, and competitions
- Manage memberships and respond to inquiries or concerns
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies
- Manage risk assessments and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience managing a sports club, team, or recreational organization
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of sports management and club operations
- Basic financial and budgeting skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
