Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director of Sales to join our leadership team in the stunning island paradise of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving our overall sales strategy, leading a high-performing sales team, and cultivating strong relationships with key clients to achieve and exceed our ambitious revenue targets.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with our organisation's goals and market opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with high-value clients and key decision-makers
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set sales targets, forecast revenue, and develop pricing strategies
- Create and oversee the annual sales budget and long-term business plans
- Identify new market opportunities and spearhead innovative sales approaches to capture them
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to inform strategic decisions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
- Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to the executive team
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a luxury or hospitality environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful long-term sales strategies
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with excellent business acumen
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and financial management systems
- Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at the executive level
- Solid understanding of the luxury market and hospitality industry trends
- Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is highly advantageous
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the local market in Phu Quoc and the broader Vietnamese tourism landscape
