Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and organized Entertainment Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of engaging entertainment programs and events across the resort. This role plays a key part in creating vibrant guest experiences while ensuring smooth daily operations within the Entertainment Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of daily entertainment programs, events, and special activities
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and operational requirements with the Entertainment Manager
- Assist in organizing special events, shows, and community-style activities across the resort
- Liaise with external entertainers, instructors, and service providers as assigned
- Maintain entertainment schedules, registrations, records, and reports
- Support promotion and communication of entertainment programs (online & on-site)
- Assist in onboarding and coordination of part-time entertainment staff
- Track entertainment-related expenses and support budget administration
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with Rixos policies, operational standards, and ISO Integrated Management Systems
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Event Management, Entertainment, Hospitality, or related fields
- 1–2 years of experience in Entertainment, Events, or Hospitality roles
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Confident communicator with a positive, guest-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, resort environment
- Team player with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications and reporting
