Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property on this beautiful tropical island.

• Lead and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to security protocols
• Liaise with resort management, local law enforcement, and fire safety officials to maintain a secure environment
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programmes for security staff, covering areas such as emergency procedures, fire prevention, and crisis management
• Oversee the daily processing and distribution of security reports to management
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential threats and implement preventive measures
• Manage emergency preparedness, including coordinating drills and updating emergency manuals
• Monitor CCTV systems and access control procedures, ensuring all entry points are secure
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and resort policies
• Maintain confidentiality of all security-related matters and resort business information
• Coordinate with the engineering department to conduct regular maintenance of safety equipment

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar security supervisory role, preferably in a five-star hotel or resort setting
• Proven team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English; fluency in Vietnamese is highly desirable
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in security management software and Microsoft Office suite
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and crisis management techniques
• Physical fitness and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Valid security licence (if required by Vietnamese regulations)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
