Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant Manager for Rooms (EAM Rooms) to join our luxury hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the EAM Rooms, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the rooms division operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving revenue growth.
- Lead and manage the rooms division, including front office, housekeeping, and reservations departments
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise room revenue and occupancy rates
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction throughout the property
- Collaborate with other department heads to enhance overall guest experience and operational efficiency
- Analyse performance metrics and financial reports to make data-driven decisions
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service
- Handle guest complaints and resolve complex issues promptly and professionally
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the rooms division
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in an All inclusive integrated resort
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in hotel management, with a focus on rooms division operations
- Proven track record in revenue management and driving financial performance
- Excellent knowledge of hotel management systems and revenue management tools
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hotel management software
- Relevant hotel management certifications (e.g., CRME, CHRM) are desirable
- In-depth understanding of the luxury hospitality market and current industry trends
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
