Job Description

COPA, Jakarta 1st authentique latin american bistro, our Assistant Restaurant Manager needs to showcase all that we have to offer at a lifestyle hotel! Our Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Bistro, providing a leadership figure for all our team to aspire to. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a team will be crucial to ensuring the success of the hotel and the satisfaction of every guest that walks through our doors.

Reporting directly to our Restaurant Manager, some of our new Assistant Restaurant Managers duties and responsibilities will be: 

  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service and communication to all guests and team members.
  • Take accountability and effectively manage the restaurant in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager.
  • Assist Restaurant Manager in developing special promotional and merchandising plans, advertising materials to help increase revenue.
  • Prepare weekly rosters and consistently monitor labour costs to remain within financial budget.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis.
  • Manage the restaurant to meet or exceed standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Assist in conducting staff and daily pre-shift briefings.
  • Assist in the recruitment process and induction of new team members 
  • Participate in workplace consultation on matters pertaining to Work Health Safety (WHS), as per the hotels agreed arrangements.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of 2 years' supervisory or assistant manager experience in a comparable hospitality environment. Assistant manager qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional demeanour and represent the establishment's values at all times.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to adapt one's approach to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Proven passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to career development within this sector.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, including the ability to work alongside team members while prioritising their development and training.
