We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of “Commis" to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.

 

Job Description

  • Collect daily materials from storage and deliver them to the kitchen.
  • Carry out food preparation duties in line with established standards and daily buffet programs.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
  • Keep the workstation and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Support kitchen operations within the assigned section and collaborate with other teams.
  • Assist the stewarding team in maintaining overall kitchen hygiene.
  • Comply with hotel policies, procedures, and quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • High school or university degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work.
