We are seeking a valuable team member for the position of “Commis" to be considered at Rixos Tersane İstanbul.
Job Description
- Collect daily materials from storage and deliver them to the kitchen.
- Carry out food preparation duties in line with established standards and daily buffet programs.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
- Keep the workstation and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Support kitchen operations within the assigned section and collaborate with other teams.
- Assist the stewarding team in maintaining overall kitchen hygiene.
- Comply with hotel policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
Qualifications
- High school or university degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
- Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to work.
