Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AV Manager to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the AV Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all audio-visual operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, and managing a team of AV professionals in our state-of-the-art facilities.
- Lead and manage the audio-visual department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff
- Plan, coordinate, and execute AV setups for various events, conferences, and productions
- Develop and maintain AV equipment inventory, ensuring proper maintenance and upgrades
- Create and manage budgets for AV operations and equipment purchases
- Collaborate with clients, event planners, and other departments to understand and meet AV requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions
- Stay current with the latest AV technologies and industry trends, implementing innovations as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide technical expertise and support for complex AV projects
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for AV operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Audio-Visual Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AV management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual systems, equipment, and latest technologies
- Proven experience in project management and event production
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning
- Experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry preferred
- Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D are highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
- Willingness to relocate to Phu Quoc, Vietnam
