Job Description

Food & Beverage Manager

This position oversees the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and profitability. This role involves managing a big team in support of the Director of Food & Beverage, coordinating with the kitchen and service teams, handling inventory and budgeting, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.

  • Support the Director of Food & Beverage in overall operations.
  • Developing and maintaining F&B budgets
  • Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement, and guest satisfaction plans and actions for Food and Beverage departments
  • Maintains a positive cost management index for restaurant operations
  • Utilizes budgets to understand financial objectives 
  • Oversees and manages restaurant, beverage, and service operations
  • Maintain on a day-to-day basis the standards and policies of the department
  • Plans the yearly targets and financial budgets for his/her area
  • Controls and analyses the quality levels of production and presentation, payroll and beverage cost, cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene
  • Execute F&B promotions monthly and quarterly
  • Responsible for the control and consumption of glass and cutlery. He/she has the breakage under control as well as the stock levels in the store (in coordination with accounting)
  • Liaise closely with the Food Cost Controller to guarantee a cost according to the financial targets, to recognize price increases and adjust prices accordingly, if necessary
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including food safety standards.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for management review.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality/Business Administration
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
  • HACCP Certification
