Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Entertainment to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Director of Entertainment, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative entertainment programs that captivate our guests and elevate their experience at our world-class resort.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive entertainment strategy aligned with our brand and guest expectations
• Lead and inspire a team of entertainment professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence
• Curate and manage a diverse portfolio of entertainment offerings, including live performances, interactive experiences, and special events
• Oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of all entertainment programs
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote entertainment offerings and drive guest engagement
• Negotiate and manage contracts with performers, vendors, and entertainment agencies
• Ensure all entertainment activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Analyze guest feedback and industry trends to continuously improve and innovate our entertainment offerings
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local entertainment providers and cultural organizations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Hospitality Management, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale entertainment programs
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role within the hospitality or entertainment sector
• Exceptional event planning and management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong budgeting and financial management abilities
• Creative programming skills and a keen eye for emerging entertainment trends
• Excellent marketing and promotion capabilities to drive guest engagement
• Superior negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written
• In-depth knowledge of the entertainment industry and current trends
• Solid understanding of the hospitality and tourism sector
• Familiarity with Vietnamese culture and entertainment preferences is highly advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in entertainment-related software and technologies
