We are looking for an experienced Director of People Development to join the People & Culture team to drive our Learning & Development culture.

It’s a great opportunity to get stuck in and be responsible for designing, delivering and facilitating an incredible learning and development experience  for the diverse talent that work for us.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Partner with our VP of People & Culture to design and drive our Discover Your Best Self philosophy and strategy across The Hoxton, SO/ and Home Base London.
  • Partner with our Director of People & Culture, People Development Manager and People & Culture teams onsite and other key stakeholders to implement, deliver and drive site specific training across our three pillars, ‘Think, Make & Thrive’ across our operations.
  • Collaborate with our Global Learning & Development team to ensure there is consistency in the programs we create and deliver across all Ennismore brands.
  • Responsible to lead and support effective pre-opening training strategies for new openings.
  • Drive the development and growth of our management teams through our management development programmes.
  • You will act as a coach and mentor to our Home Base London teams, ensuring the different departments learning and development needs are met.
  • You will be responsible for the Home Base London L&D budget, ensuring it is fully utilised.
  • Oversee the management of our Learning Management System for the brands we support.
  • Supporting the hotels across the other brands in our region in the day to day when they require the support.
  • Day to day management of our People Development Manager.
  •  Collaborate and work with external Learning & Development facilitators on specialised training programmes to inspirational learning sessions.
  • Adhoc projects and support for VP of People & Culture for Northern and Eastern Europe.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

  • Previous experience in a global learning & development role within a fast-paced hospitality environment is preferable
  • Not afraid to get stuck in and find forward thinking creative ways of developing our teams
  • Loves all things people development and seeing people grow to be their best self in their role.
  • Not afraid to stand up in front of a crowd and deliver face to face training.
  • A go getter who is comfortable in an environment where we may not have all the answers (yet).
  • You naturally want to help and support the people around you, making a positive impact; others have most likely described you as a ‘People person’ and you’re great at building relationships.
  • Nothing escapes your eagle eye for detail even when you’re spinning multiple plates at once.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and managing them.
  • You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
