Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our prestigious hotel in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our establishment.

  • Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all housekeeping operations
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Manage inventory, budgets, and staffing levels to optimise department performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems to monitor and improve housekeeping services
  • Train and develop staff members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovative housekeeping techniques to enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in housekeeping management within a luxury hotel environment
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating large teams
  • Extensive knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices
  • Large hotel or resort and pre-opening experience required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
  • Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly Vietnamese, are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in hotel management software systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of Vietnamese culture and hospitality standards is advantageous
