Job Description

Hostess (Seasonal)

This position is responsible in ensuring a high quality of service in greeting and assisting our guests. Be familiar with the Restaurant menus and be able to upsell.

• Welcome guests to the venue and consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Greet guests upon their departure.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists to assist guests regarding all food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way.
• Manage reservations.
• Have full knowledge of food and beverages list and promotions.
• Escort the guest to dining or bar areas.
• Provide menus and announce the waiter /waitress’s name following outlets policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Coordinate with the team bout available seating options.
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when communicating with guests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Previous Hostess experience is an asset
• Knowledge about the Point-of-Sale System is an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Basic Food Safety Certificate
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
