Billed as ‘the first luxurious integrated resort in Jeddah’, Rixos Obhur Jeddah will meet the increasing demand for luxurious hospitality paired with high-quality leisure activities in the area. The resort will host guests in 250 residential units, including 176 rooms and 74 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches and a port.

Job Description

      • Organization and monitoring of all affairs concerned to the position.
      • Manages all aspects of procurement of goods and services for the hotel. Works with key internal and external contacts to efficiently utilize high quality materials that best achieve value for money not exceeding the hotel’s budget.
      • To work in subordination  of purchasing chief
      • To control the goods received from suppliers (quality, price, accordance to the contract)
      • To inform storekeeper if the delivered goods do not match the standards and the contract
      • To organize the schedule (day and time) for goods receiving with storekeeper
      • The goods should be taken by a person in charge from a department to which the goods have been delivered. 
      • Purchasing order form should be attached to the invoice; make necessary operation according to the goods receiving procedure.
      • To assist purchasing chief; make market and price research; fax the price research form to suppliers and apply purchasing procedure.
      • To visit and control the factories and storages of the supplying companies together with purchasing chief when necessary.
      • To assist cost controller in stock counting  monthly or bi weekly; prepare cost count report  
      • To return the goods which do not match Rixos Hotels standards
      • To direct purchasing driver (or together) for purchasing of the goods in small quantities or for urgent purchasing
      • To protect interests of the company and choose goods only of best quality suitable to Rixos standards.
      • Follows Rixos Hotels’ procedures when making purchasing.
      • To be competent and good at job, to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff members

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Excellent communication skills
