Director Talent Acquisition

We are looking for a dynamic leader who is truly passionate about all aspects of human resources operations, and who has a strategic vision, and an exceptional ability to drive results for both employees and the brand, to communicate effectively, and to inspire others, play a vital part in preparing our organization for future success and long-term growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and oversee the Talent Acquisition Function and collaborate with senior leadership on the implementation of the human resources strategy.
  • Hire, train, and retain employees in the organization.
  • Promote positive employee relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and fun
  • Developing strategies and plans for talent acquisition
  • Attending job fairs at colleges and universities
  • Managing posts on job boards, such as INES, Linkedin.
  • Planning and organizing career fairs and related events
  • Promoting the company's brand
  • Courting top candidates
  • Checking applicants' references
  • Interviewing candidates
  • Making final hiring decisions and designing competitive offer packages
  • Developing programs to reward and retain top talents
  • Collaborate on the development of annual Talent & Culture budget and manage day-to-day expenses, month-end reporting, and forecasting of Talent acquisition accounts
  • Oversee and manage all recruitment in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
  •  
  • Empower and assist with all employee events
  • Champion committees such as Employee Recognition and Diversity Equity & Inclusion
  • Ensure compliance with Accor/Fairmont policies and local legislation in all aspects of the human resources function.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Talent Acquisition Management experience
  • Previous experience in hospitality setting an asset
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Talent Acquisition and sourcing top talent techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good budgeting and forecasting ability, with business acumen
  • Knowledge of expense management
  • Excellent people skills
